That rate is one of the highest CD rates available from any bank or credit union. Savings rates at Discover Bank are also around 1.19% right now.

Discover’s shorter term interest rates are also very high. 3 month CD rates are 0.55 percent with an APYof 0.55 percent. You probably can’t find CD rates at banks higher than Discover’s 6 month rate.
